Ok now no silly comments. Yes that's me, Matt aka Max Zephyr

And of course the reason all this is possible my lovely wife Wendy.

Here is one of my favorite pictures of our son Joseph and Wendy on his first day of school. Hard to believe he is 10 now. Wow how time flies.

And lets not forget the littlest member of the family Alexanne aka "the Bug". I've titled it "I am so the boss of you."

Real world work

In 2003 Wendy and I started a small hobby business making drop spindles for hand spinning wool. Little did we know at the time that I would leave a career in management and these turned wood spindles and accessories would become my full time job. The dream of working from home and staying close to the family has come true and Quantum Spindles was born.
Here are some special examples of our turned and carved work:

This year we have expanded our operation to include a line of table top looms of our own design. In my spare time I also do custom scale scratch building and prototyping for some very unique clients. After more then 30 years from my very first kit (thanks mom) and 18 years of creating from scratch another dream has come true.
